Changelog

Changers! We just deployed sprint 44 to production :rocket:. This includes:

  • Dashboard: We have streamlined the dashboard experience, consolidating it from three to a single view. This unified dashboard now exclusively focuses on CO2e-related metrics. It includes essential components such as the action tracker, the on-track comparison table, the reduction path graph, and the holding emission comparison chart.
  • CO2-Calculator: Actions now feature an innovative CO2e calculator. This calculator provides the capability to estimate saved CO2e emissions for actions. Currently, the calculator offers two models: Efficiency and Substitution. To utilize the calculator, users must initially input emission sources within the assessment module.
  • Action: We have introduced the ability to modify the start date of actions. When altering the start date of an action that has not yet commenced, the system will automatically mark the action as started.
  • Bug Fix: We have resolved a bug that occasionally caused the filter menu in the Insights view to appear behind other views. This issue, often encountered on smaller screens, has been rectified to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Bug Fix: We have addressed a bug that previously hindered the establishment of parent-child relations between companies in the admin panel. This resolution enables the reconfiguration of holding structures within the admin panel, enhancing administrative capabilities.

We just deployed to production our of line due to holiday season:

  • Dashboard: The Action Tracker on the dashboard now includes subtasks that have a due date or are assigned to somebody, providing a comprehensive overview of all actionable items and their respective deadlines.
  • Dashboard: The reduction path graph now clearly marks the base year, making it easier for users to identify the starting point for their emissions reduction journey.
  • Action: Estimated emission savings are now rounded to avoid giving a misleading impression of precision. This improvement ensures that users have a clearer understanding of the level of accuracy in the presented data.
  • Insights: The filter controls have been resized to allow for more space, enhancing usability and making it easier for users to interact with the filters.
  • Bug Fix: We have fixed a bug that caused actions to jump back and forth when moving them on the roadmap. The issue has been resolved, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience when organizing actions.
  • Design: We have reduced the default font size from 16 to 14 pixels and also redesigned our menu. This change allows for more information to be displayed on the screen, optimizing the use of available space. We also removed the four fun-fact tiles.
  • Action: We have added a new input field for Net Present Value in the budgeting section of an action. This enhancement enables users to include this important financial metric in their action planning and analysis.
  • Insights: Due-date is available as column in Insights table.
  • Bug-fix: When clicking month or year spinner in date-date chooser, the action details opened. This behavior is now fixed and instead the month and year switch.

We just released Sprint 42 to production. This includes:

  • Dashboard: The “On track” table on the dashboard now correctly sorts the listed companies, placing the user’s own company at the top. This improvement ensures a more intuitive and personalized view of company performance.
  • Roadmap: Action tiles on the roadmap now display and allow editing of the due date. This feature provides users with better control and visibility over their action timelines.
  • Roadmap: Saved emissions are now counted in the year of the due date, if available, or when the action is marked as done. This change ensures accurate tracking and reporting of emissions, aligning with the specific timeline of actions.
  • Action: Subtasks can now have a due date, enabling users to assign and manage deadlines for individual subtasks within an action. This enhancement enhances task management and improves overall efficiency.
  • Dashboard: We have introduced a new view called the “Action Tracker” on the dashboard. This view displays all actions and subtasks that are assigned to someone or have a due date. Additionally, we have added a filter to show only the user’s own actions. The actions are presented in a scrollable list, replacing the previous quarterly view. This new view provides a more comprehensive and user-centric approach to action tracking.
  • Dashboard: The reduction path graph on the dashboard now includes an average line that considers the total CO2e budget. This addition provides users with a visual reference point for assessing their progress against the overall emissions reduction target, enhancing strategic decision-making.

We just deployed Sprint 41 to production. This includes:

  • Action: We have added the ability to set a due-date for actions, allowing users to better manage and track their task deadlines.
  • Action: You can now easily disable estimates for saved emissions CO2e by simply toggling a button. This feature gives users more flexibility in how they handle and display emissions estimates.
  • Roadmap: We have slightly redesigned the action tiles on the roadmap. They now display the progress of subtasks, providing a clearer overview of the task completion status.
  • Dashboard: We have reworked the reduction path graph on the dashboard. It now includes a target line and data labels that show both the target and actual reduction in percentage, giving users a visual representation of their progress towards their sustainability goals.
  • Tooltips: We have introduced a new tooltip design that works seamlessly on different backgrounds. This improvement enhances the user experience by providing relevant information and explanations when hovering over elements.
  • Calculations: We have made changes to how target emissions are calculated. Previously, we subtracted the yearly emission target from the previous year’s emissions. However, we have now updated the calculation to be always based on the base year, aligning with the standards set by SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative).
  • Performance: We have optimized the Insights view for large holdings, resulting in significantly faster loading speeds. Users can expect a roughly 10x improvement in loading time, enhancing the overall performance and usability of the software.

We just deployed an sprint 40 to production. This includes:

  • Action: Persons can be assigned to subtasks. The assignee will be informed via email.
  • Dashboard: We added a on-track table to the dashboard that shows how a company peforms against its targets. For holdings, this also shows all subsidiaries.
  • Dashboard: We shipped a first iteration of the reduction path graph. It now splits actual from target data by the use of color. The lower part with mirror costs was removed. The bars have hard edges to be more visually comparable.
  • Dashboard: Reduction tile can show an average if reduction path is not constant.
